Prior to serving as Piedmont Park's Lead Pastor, Pastor Michael served as Piedmont's youth pastor and as Pastor at the New Haven Church in Kansas City. Pastor Michael has degrees from Iowa State University, Union College and Andrews University.

Pastor Michael's passion is to share the love of Jesus Christ and to help believers find their ministry serving the Lord. Jeanette works in Nursing. At Piedmont she is involved in Children's Ministries and coordinates the church's fall outreach event Light Up the Dark. Pastor Michael loves to write and has written articles for Ministry magazine. Kendra Carlson

Kendra Carlson serves as Piedmont Park’s church secretary. Originally from the west coast, she’s found she loves calling Nebraska home. She graduated from Union College with a bachelor’s in Graphic Design and freelanced while her kids were young. Before coming to Piedmont, she tried her hand at sales in a home décor store. She spends most of her free time with her family which includes her husband, Brian and two children, Cadence and Chandler. They love to take road trips together, do family movie nights and spend time with local grandparents. When Kendra has a little time to herself, she writes a blog, decorates, reads and is a wanna-be photographer. Her greatest joy comes from seeing people’s lives changed by the truth she shares.
