The Piedmont Park Handbell Program is an intergenerational music ministry program,
whose mission is to grow each ringer's handbell playing technique, and to glorify God
through quality handbell music at Piedmont Park's church services.

Chair: Charlene Hawkins

Practice times (ringers may be in one or both choirs):
Sabbath, 8:15-9:15am (Beginner and Intermediate levels)
Sunday, 4-5pm (Intermediate and Advanced levels)

Current ages of ringers range from 8 to 80+.  Children are welcome to join, but may be asked to have a parent attend with them.  No babysitting services are provided.

Would you like to join?
* If you've NEVER rung handbells before, and want to start a new hobby or learn a new skill, we'd love to have you!
* If you HAVE rung handbells before, and want to get back to playing, we'd love to have you!
* No music experience is necessary.  You provide the ability to count to 6 while following a beat, and we will teach you everything else     you need to know, from reading music to handbell playing techniques.

Not sure about a long-term committment?  No problem.  We offer the option of playing just one song, or playing as many songs as you want.  Each song is approximately a 4-8 week committment (depending on difficulty level).

Please contact Charlene Hawkins at charlene.hawkins68@gmail.com to sign up.
